This policy outlines the guidelines for the operation, governance, and ethics of Mamas Home NPC. All staff, volunteers, and participants must adhere to these standards to support our mission and ensure compliance with relevant laws.

1. Governance

• Board Oversight: The Board of Directors oversees strategic direction and compliance. Board members must act in the best interests of the organization.
• Meetings: The Board meets quarterly, and decisions are made by majority vote.
• Conflict of Interest: Board members must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

2. Financial Management

• Transparency: All financial records are kept in compliance with accounting standards and reviewed annually through an independent audit.
• Use of Funds: Funds raised are used to support Mamas Home NPC’s mission and programs.

3. Human Resources & Volunteer Engagement

• Hiring & Recruitment: Staff are hired based on skills and commitment to our mission. Volunteers receive training and are expected to act respectfully.
• Code of Conduct: All members must maintain professionalism, respect others, and avoid harassment.

4. Fundraising & Donor Relations

• Ethical Fundraising: Mamas Home NPC ensures transparency in fundraising and uses funds for their intended purposes.
• Donor Privacy: Donor information is confidential and will not be shared without consent.

5. Program Delivery

• Accessibility: Programs are accessible to all eligible participants, and the organization strives for inclusivity and fairness.
• Non-Discrimination: We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, etc.

6. Data Privacy

• Security: Personal data will be stored securely and used only for relevant purposes.
• Retention & Disposal: Data will be retained only as long as necessary, and disposed of securely when no longer needed.

7. Health & Safety

• Risk Management: Activities will be assessed for safety, and appropriate emergency procedures will be in place.
• Training: Staff and volunteers are trained in health and safety protocols.

8. Conflict Resolution

• Process: Conflicts should be resolved through open communication. If needed, formal grievances will be reviewed by the Board.
